Built around the MCCB layout and service plan
Technical Design Considerations
MCCB schedule
Manufacturer, frame size, pole count, mounting pattern, handle position, accessories, terminals, and required operating access.
Internal layout
Main and branch breaker arrangement, busbar path, neutral/ground bars, barriers, control components, and wireway allocation.
Dead front and trim
Breaker opening geometry, alignment, fastening, removal sequence, labeling area, & safe access to energized parts, defined the responsible design.
Mounting and service
Wall- or floor-mounted configuration, anchor points, door swing, hinge/latch selection, removable covers, and maintenance clearance.
Environmental target
Type 1 or Type 3R project requirements, material, seams, drainage, gasket strategy, corrosion protection, & finish; claims require verified & testing.
Repeatability
Controlled cutout coordinates, breaker mounting details, trim alignment, hardware, coating allowance, and inspection fixtures or gauges where appropriate.
RFQ Inputs
- Breaker schedule and datasheets, one-line or layout, overall dimensions, mounting method, and cable entry plan.
- Target Type 1 or Type 3R requirement, material/finish, control component needs, quantity, and target delivery.
- Critical cutouts, clearances, door hardware, lifting, grounding, labels, and internal supports.
- Prototype or production quantity and any first-article inspection requirement.
